New Concord residents will see some familiar faces in new roles for the Village. We are pleased to announce several important promotions that have taken place since January 1. Please help us welcome them.
Longtime New Concord Water and Wastewater Superintendent Chris Huebner has been appointed to the position of Interim Village Administrator. His first day was January 9. Chris has been with the Village of New Concord since 2006. During his tenure he oversaw the transition of Village water/wastewater services from using outside contractors to building a professional internal team and department that is a major source of pride for our community.
Dalton Flinn will serve as Interim Water and Wastewater Superintendent. Dalton has been with the Village since 2021. He holds Class II water and wastewater certifications, has a bachelor’s degree in technical studies from Ohio University and an associate’s degree in environmental health and safety from Zane State College.
Trent Johnson has been appointed to the position of Interim Operations Manager. He has been with the Village since 2016. Trent has been instrumental in implementing the asset management maintenance and GSI mapping for the New Concord water distribution and wastewater collection system.
Debbra (Debbie) Whitehair has been New Concord’s Income Tax Clerk, Court Clerk and front office Administrative Assistant since 2018. She will expand her responsibilities with payroll and employee insurance as Interim Fiscal Officer.
