The purpose of the Magistrate’s Court is to ensure prompt, fair and impartial hearings for persons cited for violating Village of New Concord municipal ordinances.

Magistrate’s Court is held on the second Wednesday of each month at 9 AM in the lower level of Village Hall, 2 West Main Street, New Concord.

Attorney Steve Baldwin serves as the Village Magistrate, administering both the procedural and punitive functions of the court. Scott Eickelberger serves as the Village solicitor. The Magistrate’s Court is staffed by the Village Magistrate and the Clerk of Court.
