In order to assist property owners with compliance to the sidewalk code, the Village of New Concord has established a sidewalk cost sharing program whereby the Village will pay up to 50% of the reasonable and customary costs of sidewalk repairs. This assistance is available only for sidewalks within the public right-of-way.
The village administrator’s office will be accepting sidewalk replacement assistance applications until October 10 at 4:00pm. The Village will accept and evaluate each application as submitted until budgeted funds are no longer available. Applications can be picked up at Village Hall at 2 West Main at the front desk.
