Smokin’ Joe’s Burritos, a food truck located on Main Street, was allowed by the Village Council under a special 90-day trial. During the trial period, the Village collected feedback from residents of the Village and patrons of the food truck as to their thoughts and opinions.
The results of the community survey are in for Smokin’ Burrito Joe’s food truck. Please take a look at the responses from residents, businesses and visitors to New Concord. The Policy Committee of Council will review the survey results during a public meeting on June 12th at 5:00pm at the New Concord Village Hall. The meeting will take place in the Village Administrator’s office. Village Hall is located at 2 West Main Street, New Concord, OH.
The Policy Committee will make a recommendation that evening to Village Council on whether or not to refer the issue to the Village Planning Commission. If Village Council does recommend referral, the Planning Commission will be asked to develop a Zoning Code amendment allowing food trucks within the Village of New Concord. The Planning Commission would then send their final recommendation back to Village Council for review and adoption.
