The New Concord Fire Department will be painting the tops of the fire hydrants inside of The Village. The color on the top of the hydrant correspond to NFPA standards and reflect the available water at that hydrant in gallons per minute (GPM).
Green: 1000-1499gpm
Orange: 500-999gpm
Red: <499gpm
Black: Out of service
