Location: New Concord United Methodist Church

Muskie Musik Academy is a community-focused music school and studio offering early childhood music classes and private lessons.

GROUP LESSONS:
• Pre-notes is an introductory piano prep program for 3–5-year-olds. It incorporates improvisation, exploratory piano, pitched percussion with singing, movement, and general musicianship development. Cost: $80/month – Tuesdays @ 5:00 p.m. or Saturdays @ 10:00 a.m.

• Little Keynotes is a piano group class for ages 4-5 who are ready to learn short pieces on the piano, each week adding a new note and learning around a theme. While engaging in singing and movement, students will learn basic music concepts like dynamics, tempo, expression, and more. Cost: $100/month – Tuesdays 5:45 p.m. or Saturdays 11:00 a.m.

• Storytellers is a piano group class for ages 6-8. Similar to Little Keynotes (keyboard geography, rhythms, finger numbers, etc.) but with more complex pieces. All the piano pieces are based around a story. Group piano is a great way to learn the foundations of music reading, piano technique, songs, and music theory while learning to play in an ensemble, having fun, and making new friends. Cost: $100/month – Tuesdays 4:15 pm or Saturdays 12:00 p.m.

Classes are 45 minutes long, once a week.
*Busy families will have the option to swap classes between Tuesdays and Saturdays.
**Additional days and times may be offered based on popular request.
***Sibling and referral discounts available.

PRIVATE LESSONS will also be offered in a variety of different instruments including:
