Crafty Tuesday

Be a part of our Crafty Tuesday series!

When: The last Tuesday of each month, January 31, February 28, March 28, and April 25

January 31: Painting Party! THIS CLASS IS FULL! WE CANNOT ACCEPT ANY MORE REGISTRATIONS! Enjoy a fun evening out as Julie Metry instructs us in painting a cute snowman! She will be teaching us how to color wash our canvas to prepare a linen-looking background and the techniqe of dry painting amongst other tips!
Time: 6-8 PM
Location: Garland Hotel
Cost: $35 – includes a 16X16″ canvas, all utensils including use of easel, paint brushes, paint, and instruction from our expert
NOTE: All participants are allowed to bring beverages (including alcohol) and snacks if they so desire! Glasses will be provided.

Feb. 28: Cupcake decorating! Join in the fun as Tara Hupp from Byesville’s Pure Love Bakery teaches us tips and tricks to decorate eye-appealing cupcakes!
Time: 5-6:30 PM
Location: United Methodist Church
Cost: $20 includes 6 cupcakes, all ingredients and utensils needed to decorate, and instruction

Mar. 28: String Art! Create an adorable pink bunny using string art technique! Mary Beth Caudill will take us through the steps to create this one-of-a-kind piece of artwork!
Time: 5-6:30 PM
Location: Village Hall lower level
Cost: $15 Participants will need to bring a hammer. All other materials will be provided along with instruction.

Apr. 25: New Concord Blooms projects! Be a part of our community-wide art exhibit! Display runs the first 2 weeks of May. We will be creating “stained glass”-looking kites out of tissue paper! All are welcome to be a part!
Time: 5-6 PM

Cost: FREE – donations accepted
