There are many ways to volunteer with NCAARD! High school students can acquire needed volunteer hours, college students can fulfill education or club requirements, and adults in the community can feel a real sense of giving back. We welcome your help, especially at our after-school programs!
Additionally, we are always looking for people who would be interested in leading a program! If you have a skill you would like to share, we welcome you to bring your ideas and enthusiastic help to NCAARD! Exercise classes may require that you be certified as a fitness instructor or in First Aid/CPR. Other programs require an interest in teaching and the ability to work well with children or adults. You may also volunteer for “Let’s Pick It Up New Concord” or for our annual bingo tent at the Fireman’s Festival.
For the safety of all concerned, program LEADERS are required to complete a Federal Background Check once every three years.
If you are interested, please fill out the form below and NCAARD will contact you.
Please send an email or contact Mary Beth Caudill, Program Director, at (740) 291-7274, for more information.
