The Village of New Concord would like to welcome Jim Whitehair to Village Council. On Wednesday, December 16th the New Concord Village Council voted to appoint Mr. Whitehair to a vacant council seat during a special meeting. The term Mr. Whitehair is filling will expire on December 31, 2021. Council members cited his experience in policy review and sincere desire to serve the community as key factors in their decision. Mr. Whitehair and his daughter have lived in New Concord for nearly six years. He is a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Specialist in the Anti-Money Laundering Unit of Huntington National Bank. Jim stated that “New Concord is a wonderful place to live and work. Its residents take civic pride in their community and all it has to offer. For these reasons, I am humbled by my appointment to New Concord Village Council and am proud to help represent, along with current council members, the people of New Concord.”
