DESCRIPTION:We’re looking to put on a great fireworks display to celebrate America 250!   \nIn collaboration with the NCFD\, the Village of NC\, and the America 250 planning committee\, we will be hosting a “Fill the Basket” Fireworks Campaign on the following two dates: May 15 and June 13. Collections will be taken at the intersection of Friendship and Main Street. We hope you will consider donating to the picnic baskets to ensure the best fireworks celebration we can! Thank you! \nOther ways to donate: There are several participating businesses helping to collect funds for the fireworks as well! DESCRIPTION:Join in the fun as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday this July! New Concord is one of many towns who will be taking part in statewide community picnics! Led by the Museum Association\, many organizations of the Village have pulled together to plan this celebration\, and we hope you will plan to attend.  \nActivities planned: \nFriday\, July 10\n8-10:30 PM: NCAARD Free Outdoor Movie in the Park & pre-movie festivities \nSaturday\, July 11\n10 AM – 4 PM: Free walk-through tours at National Road and John & Annie Glenn Museums\n11 AM – 6 PM: Free Swim Day at the pool made possible by a generous anonymous donor\n4-6 PM: Statewide Picnic in the Park with NC churches (NC United Methodist\, College Drive Presbyterian\, Westminster Presbyterian) providing food – all donations will be put towards fireworks! Please bring your blankets and chairs.\nThere will also be free tours of Harper Cabin.\n5-8 PM: NCAARD Bingo in Village Hall lower level; vintage outdoor games led by the museum\n7-8 PM: Sweet Adalines Friendship 7 Chorus performance\n8-9:45 PM: CNC Muskingum Valley Symphonic Winds performance\nDusk: Fireworks made possible by our community fundraising efforts and donations! \nThank you to everyone who has contributed to our Fireworks Fund!
